 We examined water from Warineco Park in Elizabeth, New Jersey.  Our Bucket Buddies count is as follows (based upon a class of 28 students):

Based upon our observations, we saw mostly daphnia (23), snail (17), midge and scud (16 each), mosquito and bristle worm (14 each).
