All fourth grade classes at Fitch Intermediate School observed water samples taken from various freshwater sources in the community.  
These are the types of invertebrates found:

 

water spiders (many-very common)
cyclops (many-very common)
phantom midge larva
daphnia (many-very common)
slugs
snails (many-very common)
worms
mayflies
