Mrs. Slack’s PALS group, Second and Third Graders

 

We investigated our pond 4 different times. We used the pond in Mrs. Slack’s back yard in Harbor Springs, Michigan.

 Hypothesis: Our whole group thought that pond life would be different around the world.

 Our first investigation date was March 28, 2007. Mrs. Slack brought pond water to our classroom to investigate.

Our second investigation date was April 18, 2007. Mrs. Slack brought pond water to our classroom to investigate.

Our third investigation date was May 2, 2007. Mrs. Slack brought pond water to our classroom to investigate.

Our fourth investigation date was May 16, 2007. We took a trip to Mrs. Slack’s house to do this investigation.

As we continued our investigation we noticed that each time we found different macroinvertebrates.
