Mrs. Pennmon’s 6th grade class collected their water samples on October 18th from Dogwood Pond
which is located about 3 miles from the school. 
This is what the students found:  

• riffle beetles
• stonefly larvae, 
• water penny larvae
• seed shrimp
• leeches
• beetle larvae
