Dear Mr. President
I have been recording the location of recent earthquakes and have come up
with some interesting information. Many earthquakes occur in lines or clusters.
They have occurred often on the western borders of North and South America,
which are on plate boundaries. Therefor it appears that the land areas located
on plate boundaries are more prone to be hit by an earthquake. It seems that
earthquakes occur when there is movement of earth’s plates.
When earthquakes occur the ground splits releasing magma. The magma in turn
forms volcanoes. So when an earthquake occurs it is usually followed by a
volcano.
I hope this information is helpful.
Sincerely,
Stephen.F
