| Bowman Elementary
School, Auburn, CA, USA Mr. Moses' 4th grade We learned that the closes you are to the Equator, based on our graph, the warmer it gets. Therefore the farther away you are from the Equator the colder it is. This isn't always true. Some reasons for this are weather, elevation, and proximity to the ocean. We also learned from our graph that when you go south of the Equator the less sunlight minutes there is and as you get farther north the more sunlight minutes you get.
