http://www.mansfielss.qld.edu.au/ I learned that the countries that had their latitude in the negative numbers had the least sunlight. Countries that had their latitude from 0° to 60° had the most sunlight. Countries south of the Equator have less sunlight because they are having winter now. From the graph, latitude and temperature, countries between 40 and 50° north are colder than countries in the south of the Equator. This is quite surprising. I think the local weather patterns and environment such as the height above sea level are some of the contributing factors. I also learned that the difference between the most and the least number of daylight hours was 323.2 minutes, and the average amount of sunlight was approximately 816.9 minutes. Another fact I learned was that most of the schools who participated had their latitude around 30°, and only four schools who participated in the project, were between 0° and 20°. Finally, I learned that six schools, who participated in the Global Experiment, had the same latitude, which was 41°!
