These two factors are related. Washington, for example, is the city that has the largest northern latitude and the one that has most minutes of sunlight. This is because this hemisphere is approaching the summer or june 21st. The average temperature varies depending on the latitude of a place, that is to say the distance between this one and the Ecuator. The closer to the Ecuator, the higher the temperature and viceversa. 2. Why do some areas of the Earth receive more sunlight than others? Because of the inclined position of the Earth, the sunrays reach it in a more or less oblique way, therefore some areas are better lit than others. 3. Why are some areas hotter than others? The temperature of an area depends on the distance to the Ecuator and the obliquity of the sun rays. 4. Why does temperature vary in different countries? Because they are closer to or farther from the Ecuador. And because of the changing of the seasons. 5. Why does the duration of the day vary in different countries? There are more or less minutes of sunlight according to the translation and rotation of the Earth. 1. N y la de mayor cantidad de minutos de luz, esto se debe a que este hemisferio se acerca al verano o al 21 de junio. Dependiendo de la latitud de un punto o lugar, es decir, la distancia entre este y el Ecuador, la temperatura promedio varia. Si se encuentra mas cerca del Ecuador la temperatura será mayor y viceversa. 2. ¿ Por qué algunas áreas de la tierra reciben mas luz solar que otras? Debido a la inclinación de la tierra los rayos del sol llegan a esta de manera mas o menos oblicua por lo que algunas zonas se encuentran mas iluminadas que otras. 3. ¿ Por qué algunas áreas son mas calientes que otras? La temperatura de una zona depende de la distancia al ecuador y de la oblicuidad de los rayos. 4. ¿ Por qué cambia la temperatura en los distintos países? Porque se encuentran mas cerca o mas lejos del ecuador y por la variación de las estaciones. 5. ¿ Por qué cambia la duración del Día en los distintos países? De acuerdo a la traslación y la rotación de la tierra en un territorio hay mas o menos minutos de luz solar.
