Global Sun Temperature Project

From: Grade 8, Math Class, Great Meadows Regional School District

The average daylight for us in New Jersey is 867 minutes and our temperature is 22 degrees C. There are six schools in New Jersey that are close to us. They have about the exact temperature and daylight.

We were surprised to find out that Chili was 4432 miles away from us and that Argentina was 5432 miles away. We noticed that the weather was very different from us in both places. In fact, Argentina and Chili had the least daylight and low temperatures.

On the east coast of the United States, Maine had more daylight than Argentina and Chili, but had a lower temperature since it was 11 degrees C.

The west coast of the United States had the most daylight minutes, but the temperature was about the same as ours.
