Project Data: PC Downloading Instructions - PC USERS ONLY -

Requirements:
You must have the following software on your computer in order to view the file. This is for users ONLY if they would like to access the data as a Microsoft Excel file:

Microsoft Excel version 3.0 or higher
Windows 95 or higher

Instructions:

PRINT this page first. This will allow you to read the directions after you have moved off this web page.

Create a new folder on your hard drive called Temperature Project (or any other name you wish). Make sure to note the exact location of this folder.

If the file opens directly in your browser (common if using Internet Explorer), you can use the spreadsheet directly in your browser or you can save it to the Temperature Project folder you just created using the menu item "FILE/SAVE AS" feature in your browser.
If you are prompted for a "user name" and "password" at any time, just hit "cancel".

If a pop-up window appears prompting you to open or save the file, select "SAVE" and save the file in the Temperature Project folder you previously created. Then open the file as you normally would in Excel.
