Investigating the weather
Instructions: Follow these steps to collect weather data for both your own town as well as the town of a friend or relative.
- Go to the WEATHER UNDERGROUND.
- At the top of the screen, type in the name of your town and state.
- Click on the "Fast Forecast" button.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the web page to where you see "Historical Conditions".
- From the pull down menu, select the date for two days ago. Then click on "Go".
- The next web page that loads up will contain the weather data from two days ago.
- Scroll down to the long list of weather reports and use the data to fill in the table below. If you have a printer you can print out the data instead.
- Repeat the steps above but this time gather data from your friend or relative's town.
